Members of the Wave Media Print Journalism staff have the opportunity to travel to Seattle, WA, to attend the National High School Journalism Convention April 23-27. This is an incredible opportunity for students to learn from professional journalists and to mix with high school journalism staffs from across the country in order to learn from and collaborate with other students with like interests. As an added bonus, students will also have the opportunity to take part in an onsite competition during the event.

To help cover registration and transportation costs, you can adopt a journalist. In order to thank you for your help, our journalism students will create advertising, blog posts or social media posts for your business.

As a Gold sponsor, for $500, you will receive:

• an ad that will be one of the BANNER ADS in the online news publication, the THS Current (https://thscurrent.org.). This ad will run until August 2025 and can be renewed.
• AND one 250-500 word blog post OR 5 social media posts that can be shared on your business or personal social media accounts. OR up to 5 print-ready ads (number depends on size) that can be run in other print publications if you do not have a web or social media presence. These posts could include a product reveal or advertisement, a sale announcement, staff introductions, etc.

As a Silver sponsor, for $250,

• an ad that will be one of the SCROLLING ADS in the online news publication, the THS Current (https://thscurrent.org.). This ad will run until August 2025 and can be renewed.
• AND 3 social media posts that can be shared on your business or personal social media accounts. OR up to 3 print-ready ads (number depends on size) that can be run in other print publications if you do not have a web or social media presence. These posts could include a product reveal or advertisement, a sale announcement, staff introductions, etc.

As a Bronze sponsor, for $150,

• an ad that will be one of the SMALLER SCROLLING ADS in the online news publication, the THS Current (https://thscurrent.org.). This ad will run until August 2025 and can be renewed.
• AND 1 social media post that can be shared on your business or personal social media accounts. OR 1 business card size print-ready ad that can be run in other print publications if you do not have a web or social media presence. These posts could include a product reveal or advertisement, a sale announcement, staff introductions, etc.

As a Friend of Journalists, for any amount

• name included in a list of patrons on the THS Current and in the print publications unless you wish to remain anonymous. Please indicate the name you wish to be published in the special instructions section.
